Defeat in the East London Derby

West Ham were unable to further capitalise on the trips to Sunderland and Liverpool (picking up 4 points out of a possible 6). Unfortunately, the Hammers slipped to a 2-0 defeat on Monday night at Upton Park against Tottenham. After a relatively even first half, Spurs opened the scoring through Ledley King, having largely dominated the Hammers. It was a tough defeat for Hérita and his teammates, but despite this, there can be few complaints. Tottenham made a big impression – players such as Lennon, Modric and Jenas make Tottenham tough opponents to play against.
