Herita and his team gave a good account of themselves yesterday afternoon at Stamford Bridge. Having won pretty much all the personal battles in the first quarter of the game, and then taken the lead through the brilliant Craig Bellamy, the Hammers ended up with a very satisfying draw. Unfortunately for Gianfranco’s men, Anelka brought the Blues level in the second half. Nevertheless, we can take great heart from having given a very solid performance against one of the league’s strongest teams. The Hammers remain in 16th place, but few team can claim to have taken anything away from this stadium!
