Excellent news for Hammers fans - Herita is back in business. 2010 started badly for Herita, who suffered a series of injuries, ruling him out of the rest of the matches last season. It was a difficult time for Herita, not being able to help his teammates during a tricky patch for the Hammers. However, Herita learnt to take it on the chin. He has worked incredibly hard to recuperate from his injuries. Whilst his teammates were on holiday, Herita stepped up a gear - a week's rehab in London with the West Ham medical staff, followed by 2 week intensive preparation in a high-level sports centre in Belgium. Then Herita started training with the rest of the group. He took part in all the friendlies, with no adverse effects. He feels the group is really competitive and conscientious and has the backing of the new manager, Avram Grant. "Whatever doesn't kill you makes you stronger" said Nietzche: Herita is back and hungry for competition!"
